I started this Unit last fall, but several things interrupted me over the winter, plus a dose of procrastination in March - I got back to work on this Unit. I found it hard last fall, but this spring I was understanding it better. I had started working on the photo assignments last fall, but still needed to complete the rest.
As I worked through my books, I was able to get those shots I needed, except one - the back light assignment. I went out in the evening to try my hand at silhouettes. I had fun photographing a tree that hadn't leafed out much, but the sun really wasn't there - hazy clouds & then a low bank of clouds hid the sun. I did enjoy editing them & trying out some "presets" in my Lightroom 3 software.
But I still needed something for the back light photograph.
I had loaded the photos onto the computer, the sun came back out. So, I went out again. This Iris photo is the one I will send in for my back light assignment.
Now I can devote more time to working on a Product photo shoot for my friends' business & start on my Unit Four studies. I can't wait! Unit 4 is on all kinds of portraiture & studio lighting.
The Lord bless you abundantly today!
